Photoshop Logo Spray

 

Final brush image


For my logo spray paint I decided to use softer colors to give the effect that the picture was holographic. I thought this project was fun to do but was difficult without instruction. Getting to know how to use all the tools in Photoshop will definitely be difficult but in the end will be fun and useful. We used the logos we created from illustrator to then create these images in photoshop, which have a spray paint affect to them. It was very interesting to see out plain black and white logo be created into something more. Since I've never used photoshop like this I hope to use these skills to eventually be able to photoshop my own pictures like this for fun.

Autoscopy Project

  Est Time: 1 1/2 hours      For this project we had to create an image that was a distortion of reality. I choose to create a mother earth picture. I used dead flowers over the mountains to create a wasteland effect. I added the bloody tears coming out of my eyes to represent mother earth dying with all the climate issues and pollution going on. The background is stars which gives an almost dizzy effect. Overall I like how this came out but in the future I would probably choose to do something else, simply because I was stuck on what kind of picture I should create.

Somewhere project

For this project we had to photoshop ourselves into "somewhere" we have never been before. I had a lot of fun doing this project from taking a picture to then photoshopping it into my image. Photoshopping it in was not very hard, all I did was used the quick selection tool then mask the photo and save it. Once I did that I was able to embed my picture into my image, which I chose the walking dead. Since my photo was a little bit brighter than the poster I used the brush tool to paint a dark grey over myself then put the opacity down. In all this probably took me an hour but like I said I had fun doing it.

Calligram Project

 Est time: 1 hour      For my project I choose to do a needle syringe. I choose this because my dream is to become a physician assistant so I choose a tool used in hospitals daily. I like this project way better than the first one because I prefer working in adobe illustrator rather than abode dreamweaver. This project did not take me as long as the coding one but I also think it turned out better. I also liked writing a letter to my future self so that hopefully look back at it one day and see what I have accomplished. It was fun to use all the different tools to create this image and I am very happy with the way it turned out.
